First Grade ELA

Do you know what a ‘noun,’ a ‘verb,’ or an ‘adjective’ is? We do! Starfall’s 1st grade English Language Arts activities help learners gain understanding of different parts of speech and how to use them to build sentences with subjects and predicates. When they are ready, learners can challenge themselves or a friend to a game of Starfall’s first multiplayer activity—Tic Tac Toe!

Parts of Speech Show CCSS

First graders learn how sentences are built with different types of words, and different forms of those types.
