Beginning Multiplication Show CCSS

Understanding what multiplication is and how it works may take time since unlike adding and subtracting, it does not come naturally to many children. In this section children:

  • Build an understanding of what multiplication is and how it works
  • Practice using arrays
  • Solve simple multiplication problems using matching games
  • Learn multiplication songs
  • These activities support multiplication learning and build a foundation for future learning of multiplication tables.
